Dear Andrew and family,
my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Saddened to hear of Leo's sudden passing. Since our first contact back in the 60s as young subalterns, Leo always had a smile and an encouraging word...a true officer and a gentleman. You'll be missed Leo; Rest in Peace.
Sandy, Andrew and Victoria,
An outstanding, caring soldier and a fine gentleman, Leo will be missed by all those who were privileged to know him. We had many discussions due to his passionate love for the military, his Corps and his unit. His wry smile will be missed.

Sandy, Leo was a fine man and a gentleman who transcended Regimental tribal boundaries. He was much admired and respected throughout the army ... we in the Artillery felt as close to him as did his brothers in the Armour Corps ... he will be much missed by all .... Barry
