Leonard, I only lived with you for a month but I'll always cherish my daily trips to your room to just say hello and loved the days when you felt up to telling me one of your amazing stories. You were a wonderful and fascinating person & you will be greatly missed.

I'll never be able to watch a John Wayne movie without thinking of you God got a special man when he took you. I know you will be missed.

I met Leonard in 1965 through a mutual friend and ended up marrying his brother, Kenney, in 1970. Leonard was always a "cowboy" at heart. He used to help at my Dad's farm with the horses. Long after his brother's death in 1982, he and Janet still held my children and I as close family and kept in touch with us always. We will all miss "Uncle Leonard" and his infectious laugh. He's riding up there now, with "The Duke" in Cowboy Heaven. Janet, we are so sorry for your loss and hope you find solace in your memories and in knowing how very much we all love you,
