Lewis was a splendid example of unselfishness and service to others; he practiced what he preached. He and Gwen were so faithful in their ministry to my sister while she was at Sagecrest, as well as to others there. Weekly trips to the grocery store for others; chauffeur service to medical care for many; the list is endless of their thoughtfulness to others. He knew how to enjoy a good "Train" game and how to be a good neighbor. His loyalty to his church and to God are beyond question. He was a fixture at estate sales at BRC, giving many hours of service. We're blessed to have known Lewis; his memory will live long.
Our heartfelt condolences to the family of Lt. Col. Beckham. A TRUE gentlemen in every sense of the word! He will be missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have had their lives touched by his. Respectfully...
We are thinking about all of you and wish we could be at the service for Lewis. Bob and Peggy Beckham
