Lewis Lanier Moore

Very sorry to hear of his passing. Lewis was always ready for a game of checkers and took much pleasure in winning. He was a great guy. Enjoyed his wit and humor.

I remember so many summers visiting with your family from California when I was a child. We always looked forward to spending summers with our cousins. We couldn't wait to get there and listen to the stories all the aunts and uncles would tell us when we would gather together for a family reunion. We had so many fun times together with Uncle Lewis, Aunt Mary, Mary Ann, Buddy, Tammy, Kathy and Tommy. Some of my favorite things to do were making home made ice cream, and of course eating it, eating all of the delicious food that was prepared for the reunion, playing with my cousins. I will always remember these times with fondness and how happy uncle Lewis was. Thank you all for many happy memories.

When your heart starts to ache ask God to help you remember all of the happy memories He gave you with uncle Lewis. I will pray for God to comfort you as you grieve his loss. I will pray that you will feel His loving embrace through all the hard times.
