I was so delighted when I had the opportunity to become re-acquainted with Linda at Tulane almost 20 years ago now, completely impressed by the beautiful lady she had grown to be, and thoroughly delighted to learn she and Danny had ended up together, fueling an unexpected renewal of faith. Now I am so saddened that her candle was one chosen to be extinguished early, she and Dan have been in my thoughts so much and now my deepest sympathies to him and the whole family, love and strength to all, Gloria (Neuman) Lakatos

Dee Dee, Charlie, Steve, and all of Linda's beloved family, I was so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. My parents and I lived next door to you on Akron Avenue back in the early 70's. I have fond memories of Linda making me lunch (bologna sandwiches and yes, cookies) and showing me some tips on how to sew. She had a dachsund back then, was her name Roxanne maybe??? Sara was just a babe in arms. She was a talented seamstress and did love to work in her garden. She looks as young and beautiful as when I knew her all those years ago. Please accept my condolences and sympathy on her loss (and "Pa-Paw"...didn't know he had passed as well). I did get to see Granny before she passed, which was an honor. Love to all of you, you were a big part of my life for years and I spent many happy hours in your home as a very young teen. May your hearts find comfort in this most difficult time of grief. Love, Debbie Mockbee (Majeau)

Dan, please accept our sincere condolence. Linda will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have met her. She always had a smile on her face. The St. Patrick's Day Parade will never be the same. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely,
