Our first time meeting Romie and Renie, was when they were deciding whether our son Daryl (Traci's husband)could be accepted into the family. They accepted us, and we all blended easily. We were never strangers with the 2 of them. Many fun days followed. They were special to us also. They will be missed. I know they are watching over their family. God Bless you all.

T'was 8 days after Christmas, around 6:25 am when beautiful Lorene Diederich stormed through heaven's gate. Her smile was contagious, her laughter filled the air. She could hardly believe all the beauty she saw there. She was filled with such joy, she was filled with such joy, she didn't know what to say. When what to her wondering eyes did appear, but Jesus, her Savior, she gathered near. He looked at her & smiled, and she smiled just the same. Then He opened His arms & He called her by name. And in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bring. She flew into the arms of her king and as she lingered in the warmth of his embrace, she turned & looked at Jesus'face. And as if he could read all the questions she had, He gently whispered to her, "I'll take care of your family." then He looked down on earth, the world far below He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, & woe. Then He closed His eyes and outstretched His hand, "let my power and presence surround this family and deliver them from this pain. Then He and Lorene stood up without a sound, "come now my child, let me show you around." Excitement filled the space. And I heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight, "in the midst of this darkness, I AM STILL THE LIGHT."

Janet and family,
My heart is heavy with news of Rene's passing. As your cousins said, it feels good to know she and Romie can look down on their beautiful family together now. They must be so proud!

You and your parents always made me (and any visitor to their home) feel like a member of the family, which I'll always hold close to heart. May their joyful spirits continue on through each of you. Peace and love to you all! ~ Anne
