Lucille G. Anderson (Zachau)

September 06, 2012
Lucille was my mom's best friend. In our home there were frequent, loving conversations about Lucille and her husband, Andy, and their child, Diane. We made many visits to their home. I have very fond memories from my childhood of Lucille's beautiful plants and garden and delicious food we enjoyed that Andy usually cooked. It was a time before "freeways" so the trek from our house to Lucille and Andy's house in Edmonds was looked forward to with great anticipation! At Christmas we went to their nursery and picked out our Christmas tree. Most of all, I remember Lucille's kindness and gentleness of heart and her love for her family, and my family...my parents and my grandparents. They lived, loved, and endured through some very rough times in our country. Lucille leaves a legacy and example of a Christ-centered life to her beloved family and friends. In today's parlance, Lucille and my mom, Audrey, are "BFF".... Best Friends Forever, and they have been re-united for eternity in their heavenly home. Until I get there, I will wonder what Lucille and my mom are up to. Meanwhile, my family and I send our sincere loving thoughts and prayers to Lucille's family.

Lucille was a spunky lady! Her legacy of faith and service are seen in the way you loved and supported her so well in these last years. We send our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
