Mrs. Belle was such a thoughtful person. She and my Mother exchanged cards often with each other. Mrs Belle had a true gift for brightening our day with a little card that contained a pressed flower from her own gardens. We always enjoyed this personal touch she gave to her communications. She was a true Southern Lady. Pam Jones,Selma AL
What a gracious beautiful woman was Mabel. Since we met our new Monroe cousin in 1996 she always treated Frank, Mary and me as one of her family. Seems like we were never able to spend as much time with her as we would have liked to. I loved her dearly and will always remember her as one of my dearest friends.

Mabel was a beautiful, thoughtful friend to spend time with. She loved to help me make decorating decisions- even interested me in refinishing furniture. Together we visited many banks looking for the highest rate of interest. She was so smart it shocked me to realize she was only 7 years older than me. I will miss her very very much. Billie Jeffers
It was a real privilege to get to know Mable, my cousin, during the past 10 years. My wife Mary, my sister Mary Ethel and I enjoyed being with her in her home. She was so hospitable, making us feel right at home. Even pulling out an old bottle of Baileys and sharing it with us. She certainly had a talent for decorating, making her home lovely and comfortable. We appreciated her intelligence and enjoyed her sharing family history with us. We will always remember our very good memories of Mable.

Mabel was a very special lady. She had the best memory in recalling details of whatever she was told. She always had something good to say, never a negative though about anyone. We all have benefited from knowing her. She wiill truly be missed. Roy Algood
