We did not know NMdine very well, but really appreciated her years of service to the Conservative causes. We pray the Holy Spirit's comfort for her family

Mr. Bailey, Janet I am truly sorry for the loss of your wife and mother. Mom has been gone for a year now, and Dad for 3 years, and I still miss them more than ever. Just think of the reunion we will all have one day. You are in my prayers.

My first memory of Aunt Madine is when she and Uncle Alton brought their tiny baby boy, Gary Wayne, to meet us in Olton, TX. I was 2-1/2 or 3 years old and I think Gary must have been the first baby I had ever seen, at least the first to make such a profound impression on me. Immediately after they left, we discovered that Aunt Madine had left a pair of shoes at our house so we got on the road to Plainview and caught up with them. There's a wealth of memories from that time forward. We used to share recipes, watch the conventions of both political parties and critique them by phone, try to solve the problems of JR and Sue Ellen. . . . We had so much in common and it was at Aunt Madine's urging that the Baughn family moved to Anthony in 1955. From then on, our lives merged and because of Uncle Alton and Aunt Madine, this only child grew up with three brothers and a sister. Aunt Madine, we'll see you again one of these days and will sit down for coffee and one of your apple pies.

Dear Bailey Family:
The world is a better place because Madine lived and touched so many lives. I am a better person for having known her. I am blessed that I had the opportunity to know her and that she was a part of my life. She touched my life in so many beautiful and loving ways. I shall cherish my memories of her forever and I will never forget her.
Love and prayers, Dan

Jerry and I will always remember Aunt Madine as one of the classiest ladies we've ever met. She was funny and sweet all the time. We will miss her. Our hearts go out to Uncle Alton.
Love, Connie and Jerry
