Margaret Adey was the consummate professional. I had the great privilege of teaching with her when I was a beginning teacher at William B. Travis H.S. in 1963. She was a great teacher, mentor and role model. What an extraordinary influence she exerted on so many for so long!
I was a librarian at Crockett High School while Margaret Adey was a teacher there. She was a wonderful lady and teacher. Dorothy Matthews Laird
I had the privilege of teaching with Margaret Adey at both Travis and Crockett High Schools. I will always cherish her memory as a colleague, mentor, inspiration and friend. She was truly one of Austin's most outstanding teachers. She and Herb were a beautiful couple. Our sincere condolences to her family and friends.
Mrs. Adey was my Spanish teacher at Crockett High School in the 1970's. She was always a wonderful positive teacher who would never let you get by with anything other than your best work. She would smile sweetly and say "Otra vez, por favor!". What a dear sweet lady! She will be missed by her family and all the students she had over her career as an educator.
My deepest sympathy to the family of Mrs. Margaret Adey. Mrs. Adey was my Spanish teacher at Travis High School in Austin,TX back in the late 1960's. She was one of my favorite teachers and she was "a very special Lady"! She had high expectations of her students and respected us as well! She taught me to do my best and to never stop learning. She was a great Spanish teacher and mentor as well! I just returned home from a trip and was not aware of her passing. My deepest condolences to all of her loved ones!
