I am sorry for the loss of your mother. I don't know how to start, but I went to school with a Marion Jeanette Jones Lewis at Jordan Matthews High School in Siler City. I only learned about her death when I was looking up information about how to find her for our 50th reunion. I remember her as a very sweet girl who was very quiet. I'm not sure this is our Marion but it sure sounds like her. The Marion I remember was such a sweet young lady, who had a lot of courage to come to a new high school her senior year. I would love to talk with you about her, even though we only knew her a short time.

It's so wonderful to see how Marion's beauty, grace, intelligence and humor live on through her daughters and granddaughters. Our thoughts are with your family.

Marion was a charming and gracious woman. In reference to Emerson, she certainly won our respect during the time we spent with her. Marlene and I are so sorry for your loss Karen and Helen; and also sad that Keelie and Jenna will no longer have their Nana.

Helen and Karen, I am so sad to learn of your Mom's death. I have so many good memories of fun times we shared in Parkwood. Know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time.
