The two and a half years I have spent loving Mark have been well spent, and I cherish every memory and moment of our lives together. I only wish that we could have lived out our dreams as we had planned them, that this tragedy had never happened. Mark, you made me a stronger and happier woman than I had ever been before I met you, and I am thankful for having you in my life to comfort and guide me. I have to guide myself now, but my path leads to you in the end. I always have and I always will love you forever and always. I miss you...

I have no bad memories of Mark; he was always there to share some insight or to banter back and forth over video games. I regret not having photos to share with you all of our adventure in Middleburg. I remember going with him to Omega Park a year or so ago. We were there with my other friend, Tiffany, and he was spinning us as fast as he could on the little merry go round. I swear he almost made that thing spin right up into the sky!
I met Mark back in 10th grade where he tutored me in Spanish. No kidding, he was THE reason I passed my Spanish II class. At UNF we both had Dr. Barlow as an English professor and, once again, Mark comes to the rescue to help me revise my midterm paper…which I got an A on!
Though I didn’t hang out with him a whole lot I still acknowledge him as a true academic. He had the drive to better his life and the lives of those around him. My thanks and praise go to his parents for raising such a fine young man. It is my personal belief that I will see those who have passed once I, too, have passed. I look forward to meeting Mark again beyond His great gates.
