My deepest condoloences to you and your family. I knew Mark only for a short time in the 6th grade and part of 7th. He was a wonderful person, kind, very intelligent, and friendly. I also grew up and went to high school with Bernard "Buddy" Weissman.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this tragic time. What a horrible loss. The world will be a lonlier place without him. God Bless You.

Sarah and family, You don't know me, as I live in Greensboro and met Mark through our shared professions of lawyer and mediator. I connected instantly with Mark, concluding right away that here is a good human being - a much more important trait than being a skilled lawyer (which clearly he was.) We always talked family before we talked law. That Mark made the world a better place in so many ways makes his loss all the more sad. My hope is that you will find comfort in good memories of this fine fellow and in the love and care of your family and friends. My thoughts are with you.

Please accept my family's sympathy for your loss. Just looking at the pictures tells me Mark was a wonderful person, full of adventure and deeply loved his kids! I read the comments others have made and obviously he was a deeply respected and talented attorney. I have some idea how much you love your students and how much you give and give. Mark seemed to be the same way. Together you were a remarkable couple. To say you and the kids will have difficult times is an understatement. Life is so very precious. We often just do not appreciate what we have until we lose it. The kids will need you more now than ever. You will need them more now than ever. Mark will always be in your heart and your soul. When you hear a plane you will look up and say a prayer. May peace come to all of you.
