Marlese made a difference in so many people's lives through her service to education and with her music. Musicians often speak most clearly through their music, and in this way, Marlese was known to be energetic, friendly, and kind; she was a human being in the broadest sense if that word, an engaged citizen, an advocate for good things, a fierce friend. She loved playing the piano, and it was my great honor to have shared many gigs over the years with her in settings from the CSI Big Band that traveled to Switzerland and New York to the quartets and trios that played around the Magic Valley.
Marlese wasn't just a neighbor, she was a friend and a mentor. I absolutely loved her and Bud. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. RIP Marlese.
Marlese was my piano teacher for 11 years. Sometimes it was a love/hate relationship :-) but I am grateful for all of the skills she taught me. I still have the baby grand piano that she sold me and my grandchildren are learning to appreciate the piano now. She was also an awesome first grade teacher for me and when we had our most recent class reunion she came and entertained us with several songs. A special person has gone out of our lives and she will be missed.
Mrs. Teasley was an AWESOME teacher when I was in the first grade. Opal and I were so glad that she was able to come to our wedding back in 2008 and we were able to take her to our Hansen 1980's reunion in 2010. Thank you, Mrs. Teasley for the memories. You will be missed..
Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
