My parents built the house next door to the Allison family in 1968, and I am proud to call Ms. Martha a friend for all those years. She saw my brothers and I as adventurous young kids, sometimes "rowdy" teenagers, college students coming home, and adults starting our lives out in the big world. She watched our children growing up, and was always interested in what was going on with all of us. She was a steadfast friend and neighbor during my mom's illness and subsequent passing from breast cancer. It was during those times that I had my best talks with her. I would sit in her den talking about life, cancer, golf, Dale, my mom, and too many other topics to be mentioned here. I am a better person for knowing Ms. Martha, and I will always remember her with a smile. She raised two great daughters, and has the legacy of her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren to be so proud of. I will miss her very much. God speed to you in reuniting with Dale. Say hi to my mom for me too! Much love, Linda Bryant Bartmess and family.
We send thoughts and prayers to Martha Allison's family. We bought her house in October and are honored to live here. Phillip and Donny Seagraves
