Hey Dad, I had a lot of fun growing up with
you. I will always remember the times scouting
or just going off fishing. Those were great times. You will be missed but I know you are in a better place and on a new adventure.Have fun in your new adventure and seeing old friends. We will see each other again. Love You.

I was so lucky to have you for a dad. You were the best dad, grandpa and Pop Pop. We all have great memories...eating boiled peanuts, always having candy in your pocket and you always wearing your hats. I know you are in a better place, with no pain and you can finally walk. I love and miss you so much...I will always be a "Daddy's girl".

I miss you more & more each day. So glad we all spent our last Xmas together. You were a fighter to make it to Tami & Mike's to be with everyone. I love you so much & that will never change. So sad !!!

I know that this might come off as selfish, but I find myself feeling grateful. I am grateful that you were able to make it to every one of my birthday parties, my high school graduation and my wedding. I am grateful that you were able to meet and know all three of my girls, and grateful that they are old enough to have their own memories of you (such as candy always in your shirt pocket). I am grateful that whenever I hear the music to Charlie Brown you will be the first person that pops in my mind. I am grateful for all the wooden magnets I have on my fridge, and for all the wooden ornaments that I get to hang on our Christmas tree. But most of all, I am grateful that you were my Grandpa. So carry on up in Heaven now Pop-Pop, doing the things again that you once never thought you would be able to do, and I will continue to be grateful for the 36 years that I had with you to make memories.......Love, Shelley, Scott, Haylee, Hannah and Leah Holbrook

I will always remember the great times I got to spend with my grandpa. The trips to the movies, the car shows, the cabin in North Carolina with the trips to Bud's to secretly buy his chew which always came with the same words... "don't tell your grandma," but she always knew. I will always remember that whenever I called the house or saw him in person he always greeted me with "Rosco P. Coltrane" or simply "Hey Rosco." He was a good man and one of the best grandpa's a kid could ask for. I will miss him.
