He was a terrific individual with a keen intellect and an honest desire to use the law as it was intended--to see that justice was served.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss.
I am so sorry to hear of Marvin's passing. He was one of the best and brightest people I have known.
We have lost a deep thinker and a zelous advocate. Condolences to the living.
I just heard the sad news of Marvin's passing. When I was in the Attorney General's Office he was one of my favorite foes in personnel cases. No matter the outcome, it was always an experience to go up against Marvin in a case. He would work the judge, and opposing counsel if you would let him get away with it, but he was always a pleasure. He was the epitome of an attorney and counselor at law. He was a gentleman and a scholar and always found a way to include in every argument that fact that he not only had a Juris Doctorate but he also had a PhD. He was one of a kind and I will miss him.
If you can be half the lawyer your Daddy was you will be amazing. State employees have lost one of their most ardent advocates. Please accept my sincerest condolences for you and your familiy in the loss of your father and my friend. Patsy Smith Morgan
RIP Marvin. He was the best "grandpops" a kid could've had. We will miss him and thank him every day for giving us a great son-in-law.
