If I could be half the woman my Grandma is, I will Be happy. I am who I am because of her. She is my strength and my hero. When I had my Brain Tumor and could barely go just the thought of her strength kept me going. She will always be my hero. I love you Grandma. Charlene

"Grandmother" was very kind but firm. She knew how things should be done and why and you needed to just do it whether you felt like it or not. She was always gracious and had a way of kindly requiring compliance. I admired her strong persistance. She instilled in us a very strong work ethic. I loved hearing her stories of her heritage. I will miss her.

As a little girl, I remember my Grandma Allmond as sweet and hard-working. As a teenager, I remember her as loving but firm and still hard-working. As an adult, I realize her love, inner strength and work ethic were a strong, positive influence on me. I'm so thankful God made me her granddaughter.
