dear Bryan, Our deepest sympathy yo you, Ginny Brian and family. we are so sorry we are unable to attend Mary,s funeral as we thought the world of her. in our younger days we put in great times with Mary and George Rayners , Amell,s,etc. Paul and Angela Murphy
We send our thoughts to Aunt Mary's family, with fond memories of times spent together at Christmas. She was a very special lady.
Dear Ginny, Brian, Drew and Timmy,
Aunt Mary was a true lady and the warmest person I have ever met. She made you feel so comfortable in her presence. Her love of children was amazing as well.
I am so happy that my husband Bruce and daughter Emma were able to meet her. We cherish our lunch visits with her and family. We always made sure the first stop from the Airport was a visit with Mary.
I will keep the wonderful memories of time spent with Dear Aunt Mary forever.
LOts of hugs
Dear Ginny, Brian, Drew and Timmy,
Mrs. A. will always be in my thoughts. When I first met her over 60 years ago I remember I was in awe of her beauty. She exuded a kind of aura that made you love her. I loved going to the Armstrong's house because Mrs. A always welcomed me with a big smile and then say " Shelagh dear, take off your boots and go to the Rec room".
Mary and George were good friends of my parents Tom and Christine. Since we lived next door the P's would have cocktails on (many) occasion. The parent's would be upstairs in the den and we would be, guess where, in the rec room. All was well until we made too much noise.
Mary Belle, as my Dad would call her, was non-judgemental. She accepted people as they were, which made me feel as a young person growing up, always comfortable in her presence. She was always positive and made others feel special.
She lived a long time and touched many lives. It was meant to be.
