Mary was a good friend during my Evening at Emory years as an instructor and at her Christmas Open Houses. Bill Mitchell
Mary was truly a Mentor. She encouraged ALL women to be successful at a time when we were just beginning to push ahead.in the business arena. I taught for Mary at Evening At Emory for over twenty years. During those years and for many after, Mary encouraged me to be a wife, Mother, and have a career. I wrote my first book which developed through teaching my classes. I admired Mary, I liked Mary, and I will forever be grateful for her freindship and her "push" to encourage my career. Mary did indeed make a diffference in the life of many. I am lucky to have known her.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
I am sorry to learn of Mary's passing. She was a most creative lady and always a pleasure to be around. Our sympathy to the entire family. Dorris Martin and Family (Alice's daughter in law)
I met Mary at Emory Seniors classes where I attended classes which enriched my life. Mary
persuaded me to teach a course which I enjoyed
doing. She was a lady of great intelligence and grace. My condolences to her family. May her soul
rest in peace.
