I will always cherish and love my Aunt Mary. She was always full of knowledge. We had many memorable times together. I will always love and miss you.

Although I only met Mary once, and Kelsey never had the opportunity to meet "Gran Marie", her letters and gifts were a window of insight to her intelligence, loyalty and kindness.

The closeness you, Faith, and she shared was special, but as her primary caregiver, your loss will be intensified as you process through the stages of grief.

Bless you, Faith, for providing your mother with unconditional support and may you feel the love and warmth of her spirit envelope you as you heal.

Marie was like a delicate flower. If you took the time to see the real Marie under her outward appearance - you would know she had a gentle spirit. She was known in the neighborhood as a guardian and watch dog for all of God's flowers and creatures. She made sure the birds in the neighborhood had food.

More importantly - Marie was a friend of my Mother. She would spend time with my Mother and would also bring her food. Marie was always watching out for my Mother. Even during my Mother's final days, Marie would stop my siblings and myself to ask how Mother was doing.

Marie was also a fantastic pianist. Many times over the years, various family members, including myself, would sit on Mother's front porch and listen to Marie while she played the piano. I would sit on the porch during Mother's illness and would be soothed by her beautiful music. She will be missed.
