Dr. Mary A. Lynch

November 5, 2013
I was 11 years old the last time I saw Mary in Beaver Cove (1977) and I still have vivid memories of her smiling, talking and laughing. No doubt you have many great memories. My condolences to you all.

So saddened to hear of Mary's passing. She was an integral part of our childhood and family. Many fond memories of happy times spent around the piano at 97 Byng and outings out in "Shady Vale " at Beaver Cove! Aside from her distinguished career accomplishments, Mary could always be counted on at family gatherings for hilarious stories told (as only she could) with her zany personality and penchant for humor.Sincere condolences to all the nieces and nephews. She will be missed.

Mary was a generous colleague. She had the rare ability to convey true friendship both inside and out of a professional setting. She had wonderful communication skills, a great sense of humour, and she was a fair judge of character. We were both new faculty in the early 1970s. One could only have the deepest respect for her knowledge, her convictions and her contagious appeal.JimGuy

To Mary's relatives and friends,

Mary's life was a blessing
to her family and friends
and now with Mary's passing
this blessing does not end.
Her relationship to our family
goes back throughout time,
when she took part in a play
and left fond memories behind.
"The Absent Minded Bridegroom"
was directed by our Dad,
an A.O.H. performance
with Mary as the Bride.
I'm smiling as I think of her
and the stories Mary shared
even 50 years later
when I met her anywhere.
A lady through and through
a woman I hold dear,
I'll always feel her presence
when I think of her it's clear.
Rest in peace dear Mary
for you have left behind
love and peace and wisdom
for the good of humankind.
- Love, hugs and prayers for blessings for you all, Viola Doncaster
