Melinda was mom#2 for 40 years, and will be sorely missed by Debbie and myself. Goodbye Melinda, we love you
Melinda and I taught next to each other at Manzanita Elementary in Conejo Valley. She was such a positive person, loved to laugh, adventurous, traveled to far away ports. I'm so glad to have known her, to have spent lots of time with her, to have had lots of fun together. I send my caring thoughts to Brett and his family and Melinda's mother and all the family.
Melinda was a wonderful lady. I had the privilege to know her through Friendship Connection. Melinda was always upbeat and smiling with such a positive attitude. she radiated love to all around her. I looked up to her. She fought so hard and did it elegantly and quietly. I deeply grieve her loss. She gave so much to Friendship Connection and to life.Rest in peace Melinda. Love Pat Oberg
Sending Prayers on The Wind to all of Melinda's family. I had the honor of knowing Melinda for a few short years as she attended my water class. She was the most positive influence ever. Coming to class during her treatment times made us all know how strong she was and just how strong we could also be. I was always happy to hear when she would come back from up North where she had spa time to relax. I thank you for providing that for her. She loved her family and always looked forward to seeing them. She was missed each time and we loved having her back in class.
My thoughts and prayers are with you now. She is a blessing, no matter where she is.
Thank you for posting the amazing story of Melinda. The Ford family was "our family" for sure. Melinda always had that radiant smile and warmth to share with others. So sad that she had to battle cancer, yet so thankful she is in the presence of Jesus in Heaven.
