God bless you, Lee, and provide peace of mind to your family. I had the privilege to work with Lee at Beech Aerospace Services, Inc. at Moffett Field from Oct. 1989 until May of 1991. He was one of a kind and had a heart of gold. Vaya con Dios, Amigo.
One of the finest persons that I have ever had the privelege of knowing and working with. We have lost a good man and my biggest regret is losing contact with him over the years. But I will always have the memories of Lee and I getting to see a few games at Candlestick Park. May God bless a good man and his family.
To the Family of Command Master Chief Melvin "Lee" Baldwin:
On behalf of Master Chief Baldwin's shipmates of the USS JOHN F. KENNEDY Association, I offer you our deepest sympathies on his passing. His name will be read at a memorial service to be held in Boston later this year. All members of the Association will be notified of his death
Master Chief Melvin's service to our country and to the U.S. Navy is hereby acknowledged with gratitude.
