God surely blessed me and my brother and sister with an amazing dad. He was always very attentive, involved, and patient with us. The only time he would get angry with us was if there was defiant disobedience. I remember One time when I was five or six I had commited that offense. I knew it meant a spanking might be coming, so I hid under the
bed; he had to drag me out, then I wiggled and squirmed so much that he ended up getting the giggles. He said to me "I can't spank you when I'm laughing" then hugged me, and told me never do that again!
I recall so many nights when I was struggling with math homework. He was a math wiz and loved it, so didn't quite understand why it made me crazy, yet he patiently explained , sometimes for the whole evening, until I got it, and more importantly, felt better about myself.
There are so many things I could say but not enough room.
I felt safe, loved, and accepted with dad. I have nothing but wonderful memories. Thanks Dad, I'll always love you. See you later!
