Monte Wolfson and my late father, an economist working for the U.S. Government, traveled to the Far East on trade delegations. Some years ago Mr. Wolfson called Temple Emanu-El, where I work, and upon hearing my name, asked me if I were related. Once we established our connection, we enjoyed several charming conversations over the years about business and family. He was a lovely man, and I will miss those chats. My condolences to his family.
