Professor Rogers was my favorite professor at Georgia Tech. I graduated in 1971 and was very pleased to endow a scholarship at Tech in his honor. He embodied everything his students aspired to become.

Please know that you are surround by prayer in the loss of your Dad. I have such fond memories and am hoping that you are thinking of the grand times you all had together. Heaven will definitely be a jolly place now... full of quick-witted conversation and wonderful stories. Take care of each other. We've all been blessed for having known him.
I was deeply saddened to learn of this. Growing up with you guys at Sam Jones and all of the Atlanta commutes made by our Dads made this news even more difficult. Please know that people all over the country are praying for you.
Ed and Family, our prayers are with you at this difficult time. Mr. Rogers was obviously an incredible success and I know that he touched many lives in his journey on earth. I have Ga Tech friends that remember him as a favorite professor and I'm sure there are countless co-workers, colleagues and church members that highly regarded him as well.
May you all be greatly comforted by God at this time and be able to recall the great times you had over Mr. Rogers life and celebrate him today.
Blessings, David Elrod and Family
May God make his presence known to you and your family and provide you with the peace that only he can provide, today and all through these difficult days.
