Nicholas Francis Carsillo

December 08, 2012
Just a line to let you know how sad I was to learn of Nick's passing from Tony Ruvo.

I met Nick in seventh grade homeroom. I enjoyed his sense of humor and as a couple of our other classmates - as well as me - have said, "He was such a good guy!"

He will be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Sincerely yours,
Audrey M. Lowe

Kevin and I were very shocked and saddened at the news. We were on vacation in VA and missed the services, but our hearts were there.

My dad is very sad. He has talked about Nick every day, since he went to heaven. His gregarious personality and great memories of his generosity stayed here though! I will never forget him taking my cancer-filled friend, Jennifer, out on the boat for her last sunset cruise. He always had a way of "making things happen." Dalton will always refer to him as "Uncle Nicky."

There will be an empty seat at Rookies and we will miss him dearly. If ever you need company, our family is your family.

Love,
Kerri, Kevin and Dalton

It was with shock and sadness when we were advised of Nick's passing. There in times when words fail to do justice to the situation. Nick's passing is one of them.

You have our deepest sympathy. He was a great and caring person.

Just wanted to tell you what a lovely and special tribute the Service was to Nicky that you and your family arranged for him. He would have been so proud. I was so happy to share in the love and respect you had for him. He has left a void in so many of our lives.

Lovingly,
Barbara Terstappen

We were so shocked and saddened to hear from Mira that Nick passed away suddenly. We will certainly miss him. His stories of people he knew, snakes coming out of the air conditioner and experiences he had throughout his life were amazing and amusing. We always looked forward to our dinners together. And, of course, he was a "chef extraordinaire." And a wonderful host as well as a really nice and caring person who volunteered his time and resources to those who needed it - from the Immokalee workers to community members on Marco Island, in Fiddlers Creek, and other communities where you lived.

Our sincere condolences go out to you and your family.

Fondly,
Toby and Bob Silverman
