Dear Scali Family,

Uncle Nicky was the most kind, big hearted person in our family . He always put others ahead of himself . And loved his family very much ! I'll never forget when I was ill , he went to the store for me and got my meds and walked 1/4 mile up my driveway to bring it to me , and he did'nt want anything in return , just for me to get better . As a little girl he would pull on my ponytail ....I would turn around, and see his big beautiful smile , which only made me smile even wider ! I'm so glad that I saw him on my last visit to Syracuse in December at my mom's house , we talked , laughed , had some biscotti and shots , just like when we were at Grandma Scali's . And he got the biggest kick out of me remembering the" bunnies" he had raised when we were growing up ! He said "you remember that !" with that big beautiful smile of his ! And when our visit was over , I gave him a big HUG and he said to me "You take care of yourself now " ,and in turn I replyed , No , You take of yourself!!! And we kissed and hugged again .....And that's the way I want to remember him ... with that Big Beautiful Smile on his face ........GOD BLESS YOU UNCLE NICK!! YOUR HOME NOW, WITH GRANDMA AND GRANDPA !!!! LOVE YOU FOREVER ......MARIE & DARIO PALUCCI

Dear Shirley and Girls,
We were so sorry to learn of Nick's passing. Nick was a sweetheart, always so friendly and smiling, a real gentleman. Although we are far away right now, you are in our thoughts and hearts, and we will look forward to seeing you soon.

Our loving regards,
Maralee and Ralph Dougherty
