Dr. Norman R. Stewart Ph.D.
Mr. and Mrs. Stewart have been so important to me, my brothers, sisters, entire family since our parents first met. Such amazing and wonderful human beings. They will be greatly missed. Rick and Holly our thoughts are with you.
Dear Holly and Rick, So very sorry to read about your father. I have many fond memories of your parents and the house on Orchard Street. With sympathy, Martha Smith
Norm and Gwyn Stewart were people who were always there when you needed them, willing and ready to help without needing to be asked. The best example I have of this is when my mother died suddenly on June 20, 1975. That evening, Norm and Gwyn were at the door to offer their help. They prepared dinner, took care of my young children and did whatever needed to be done around the house. Because of this, my husband and I could deal with the situation. This is but one of many times when Norm and Gwyn demonstrated their selfless generosity and friendship, for which I will be forever grateful.
Dear Rick and Holly,
My deepest sympathy is with you both in the loss of your dad. From the years we were neighbors and became friends on Snyder, the years as schoolmates with Molly and Graham, and all the years at Edgewood where your mom and dad were so involved and made such an impact, I am grateful to have known them and had them as friends. I was sorry to not have been able to be at the service, but I was so glad to have been able to see you both last week at Coral Gables (I saw your parents there often and then Norm.) I wish you peace and love and comfort in your good memories.
Norm meant so very much to our family. We will miss his wisdom, gentle nature, and smile! Rest in peace, we love you very much.
