The greatest gift I ever received was when I graduated and my Dad flew me down to Florida to see you and pop-pop. You have know idea how much that trip meant to me. You and pop-pop helped me achieve my college education and inspired me to do great things. Not many women your age had a college degree and that was a driving force for me to complete my Masters in Social Work like pop-pop. I will miss the phone calls about the weather and the laughs I shared in Florida with you... that Summer will remain with me forever. Take care, rest easy, RELAX, and watch over all of us. I love you and have missed you since the day you moved to Florida.

What beautiful photographs of the wonderful times of her love and joy.

Knew Ollie, a dear family friend since I was sixteen years old when we moved in next door to her and and her family in Ozone Park. She and my mother had daily coffee klatsches for years, until my parents moved, and Ollie and Pat retired in Florida. We stayed in touch by phone and mail regularly, even more so after my mother died twelve years ago. There will be a big void in my life. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and loved ones. It was an honor and priviledge to have had her in my life. How she'll be missed. A kinder and more compassionate human being would be hard to find.

Dear Aunt Ollie: I have not seen you in recent years, but no one can take away all the fond memories I have of growing up right next door to you and Uncle Pat...you were a second set of parents to me and your children were my siblings too. I got to spend a lot of time with you, not only in Ozone Park, but in Crandon Lakes also and those wonderful times are first and foremost in my mind. So, although I may not have seen you recently, you and Uncle Pat are etched in my mind forever. No one can take that away from me. Although your family will miss you dearly, I do know that you were reunited with Uncle Pat and that, in and of itself, gives me the greatest comfort...I love you and thank you for some of my most treasured memories...Love always, Anne xoxox
