Dearest Auntie Claire,
How sorry I was, and still am, over the loss of Uncle Paul. We wish you the best over this trying time. I have been thinking of you, the girls and JP ever since I heard the news. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. Much love,
John and I were so sad to hear about Paul. We hope you are able to find comfort in family and friends while your heart mends.
All of us at Long Pasture want to express our deepest condolences to you and your family and closest loved ones over the loss of Paul.
I know Paul's respect of others, love of nature and witty personality was recognized by all and we were and will continue to be honored to have your involvement at the sanctuary with beekeeping.
We all wish you strength and serenity as you reflect on your lives together. We all look forward to seeing you here on the sanctuary and know it brings you comfort and happiness!
Dad - I can't say good bye. And I won't, knowing that you will always be with us. We're so heartbroken. Every morning I wake up thinking, hoping, this was a bad dream. But then as I wait for your morning email, I know it's true. I'll miss your smile and the crinkles at your eyes. I'll miss your teasing Dee over politics. I'll miss your calling Mom “your bride.” I could fill books with everything that I love about you. You taught us kids respect, pride, patriotism, humility, kindness, and laughter. You set my standard for what a loving husband should be. And what a proud father should be. Thank you. I love you. -Andrea
I didn't know Paul, but I know his daughters. It seems like they both inherited something of his old soul though they are of these times. You can sense their deep roots to very solid people — in their values, easy laughter, and willingness to work hard and care little about what people around them might think.
Take care of each other, D and Dre, and don't be shy about shining your light. My condolences to the whole family.
