Dr. Fink was one of my favorite professors! Prayers to the grieving family. Heaven welcomed him with open arms, I am certain.

Dr. Fink was a professor par excellence, mentor, and close friend of mine. After serving as his last graduate assistant, I was able to witness Dr. Fink as not only a scholar and expert in homiletical training, but as a loving father and husband to his wife and family. All around, he is to be honored as a man whom God had an unusual hold of. I will forever appreciate the way God used Dr. Fink to teach me and so many others to "Preach the Word"-2 Tim. 4:2

Dr. Fink's straightforward counsel will always be in my heart - in mine and in thousands of men like me who had the privilege to sit in his classes and see his example. I will never forget him, especially when I plan a sermon from the word of God he taught us to honor with honesty. He more than anyone else I know taught others who would be able to teach others also. His ministry will continue in the thousands of men and women he touched in his very fruitful years of ministry.

The sheer number of students impacted directly or indirectly by Dr. Fink is staggering. The man's impact on the church will never be fully realized this side of eternity, but will be felt for years, dare I say, generations to come.

Dr. Fink was one of my professors at Liberty (BIBL 350). When deciding who to take for the class, I asked around and one student asked me, "Do you want to learn from the Apostle Paul or from Timothy?" I chose Paul, and that meant taking Dr. Fink's class. I had to go see him to add the class, and when he signed my form, he said, "Remember, when it gets tough, you asked for it." I wrote that on my copy of the add/drop form and framed it in my dorm room for the semester. That was the hardest and the best class I had at Liberty!
I thank God for all that Dr. Fink taught me.

All means all and that's all all means!
