Hell of a year, huh? So, I've been thinking a lot about Peter lately and I have so many good memories of him. He was always happy and a friend to everyone. Going out to eat was always a good time with him. I am lucky to have lived with you two for many reasons; one is that I was able to get to know you and Peter so much better. He taught me to lighten up and not put so much stock in what other people think about me. 'Opinions are like ... (well you know the rest!)' I still love that saying! Peter was a great man, as you well know. He is greatly missed and the world is a little duller without him. My heart is with you now and always. Sending all my love and lots of hugs to you!
Apologize for late entry as I have just learned of Pete's passing from Steinmetz Oct Alumni News Letter. I knew and hung out with Pete while at Steinmetz. We also were neighborhood friends having lived practically next to each other (Shubert/Narragansett Chgo). Great “kid”.. Easy to hang with. One does not forget people like Pete. Heartfelt thoughts are with Pete's family.
To Peter's Family,
It was just this evening that I read of the passing of Peter. I am deeply saddened. We went to school together; from kindergarten through high school. It was always great to see him at school reunions and remember fun times. I am so very sorry for your profound loss. Please know that I share your sadness. You are in my heart. Uncle Peter will be missed greatly. We will always remember his wonderful sense of humor, his kind and generous heart and the immense love he had for his family. You will continue to be in our thoughts.

Peter was the epitome of what a man should be. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He always did the right thing just because it was the right thing to do. He never met a stranger and was always on the lookout for the "best deal", no matter the product. No brother could ask for a better husband for his sister than you were to Sharon. Because of your values, beliefs and hard work you left your family and this world a better place. We will be eternally grateful for your guidance to our daughter Jennifer, during her time living with you and Sharon. It changed her life and put her on the path to becoming the wonderful person she is today. If every man were like you what a wonderful world this would be. We love you, miss you, and will always remember you.
Love, Glenn Hunn
