I am deeply saddened to learn of Phil's passing. I felt so fortunate to see him again a few years ago at the WHS alumni luncheons on two or three occasions. I have known Phil since he was in diapers toddling around the yard as I mowed and worked around the house when I was in high school. Beyond my own family, Leo was my best, my most respected friend, mentor, and inspiration, and I have always felt an abiding love and respect for all of you children. I regret that I never had the opportunity to meet and your daughters, Ms. Williams, but I shall continue to hope for that to happen. Please know that I am with you in your grief. To you Barry, Jill, Mike, and Richard, if you read this note, I hope you have some recollection of those wonderful, meaningful years, and that my admiration of, and pride in all of you has never faltered. I am most fortunate to have been a tiny part of your lives. May you all be blessed with peace and solace.
