She made everything special.
WHAT I REMEMBER THE MOST ABOUT AUNT JENNY IS HER SWEET SMILE AND HER SOFT VOICE....
As I remember Aunt Jenny many memories come to mind. But the one that effected me the most was in 1998 after I lost my house in a fire. The first people to come over after that awful night were Aunt Jenny and Uncle R.L. They didn't just come by to offer their sympathy and say how sorry they were, no, they showed up with old work clothes on ,heavy gloves, (extra ones too) and large garbage bags. They were ready to go in and help recover what could be saved. I was alone when they showed up. Their is noway to tell anyone how that felt. Their love did not stop there. Aunt Jenny fixed many meals for me and the kids as we tried to make sense out of our lives. She and Uncle R.L. opened their home to us, and gave us a meeting place for friends and other family members. She told me she felt the Lord wanted her to give me her old bedroom suite, the one she had when she first got married. Wow. What an honor as I knew how sentimental she felt about it! I still use it today, and remember her kindness to me when I needed it the most. But that was just her, showing the love of the Father always in everything she did. It was a real honor to call her my Aunt.
