To the Johns family: My deepest sympathy for the loss of Raffee. A truly special representative in the Pfizer family.

Aunt Esther, Carolyn, Barb and Little Raffee - Uncle Raffee meant so much to me. You cannot know how special he made me feel - even when I was an awkward young girl with glasses and braces, he always made me feel like the belle of the ball - a gift that helped me turn into the woman that I am today. Love to all of you and your families. Sonja

Raffee was such a dear, dear friend of first my Dad, then my Mom. We are sorry for such a great loss, yet so grateful for all the wonderful times at Michigan and beyond! You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Gwen Godt and Carol Godt Martin

From the Futurliner Restoration Volunteers. The first time we met Raffee Johns was when we sponsored a picnic for the PARADERS to visit the restoration of Futurliner #10. Raffee climbed up on the open door of the Futurliner and immediately recited his speech just as he did in the early 1950s when Raffee was a "PARADER". Immediately we were not only restoring a vehicle but living back in the early 1950s. The PARADE OF PROGRESS became live to each of the restoration volunteers. It became living history in front of our eyes. The restoration was entergized immediately by Raffee. From then on we saw Raffee at many shows where the Futurliner was being shown. Not only was he there enjoying the show but telling stories of his experiences with the Parade of Progress and became a walking historian that folks were thrilled to listen to. Thank you Raffee for making the Parade of Progress live before many many people.
