Sunday, April 26, 2015
Please join Randall's family and friends this Sunday, April 26th, 2015 for an intimate celebration and remember his life, his travels, and his accomplishments. To follow in the footsteps of Randall, we're holding the wake in the back "cottage" of Tir Na Nog Irish Pub Raleigh, where he did much of the writing and hard work for his newspapers. We invite you to come share a hug, share a Randall story or two, and have a pint in his honor.

Such tragic news.Heartbreaking and just out of the blue as tragedy often is. Randall and I formed an alliance thru my business at The Shrimp Connection in Summerfield Farms: we traded shrimp for advertising.A beautiful thing. But more than that we discussed the local political climate. He provided such great dry humor but more than that he put some "checks and balances" into the Town Hall and council. My sympathy goes to his family and to all those who saw his greatness and love for life. A brilliant mind is gone but the memories are burned into our hearts. We talked about Charles Bukowski,an author he liked:

“there is a place in the heart that will never be filled
a space
and even during the
best moments
the greatest times
we will know it
we will know it
more than
there is a place in the heart that
will never be filled
we will wait

in that space.”
? Charles Bukowski

Grace and family, God's peace be with all of you. I remember the boys from school and church and my boys were the same ages. Prayers, Jean Stofanik
