It was such an honor to have known Ray. One thing that we all must agree on is that no one ever wondered what he was thinking. He always said what was on his mind (Good, Bad or ugly).
I was proud to call him a friend. God Bless the family,
I am so sorry to hear of Ray's death. I know he lived a full life, and loved every minute of it! I know you will miss him dearly. Please know my thoughts are with you as you work through this difficult time.
Mrs. Frieda, I have only met you & Ray a few times, but know much about the two of you through Ms. Essie. I am one of Maidah Millers grand-girls, daughter of Lois. I'm sure you know the name, if not who I speak of.

Ray I met you when I was a little girl at the family reunion. I liked you the moment we met. As the years pasted you was the one who gave us our first Boston Terri (sugar). I soon married after and began our own family. My husband and children would look forward seeing and talking to you. That one reunion we was at you fished with my husband and kids. My husband after that day said he enjoyed fishing with you. You had a impacted on my family as well as yours. I know your family will miss you very deeply. I know your not hurting any more and your up in heaven with my daddy right now talking fishing and singing and teaching my daddy a song or two.
