Heavenly Father, God of all mercies and of all consolation,
You look at us with love
and dispel the shadow of death
with the bright dawn of life.
Give courage to the family of Ley Dey in their loss and sorrow.
Be their refuge and strength, O Lord,
reassure them of your continuing love
and lift them from the depths of grief
into the peace and light of your presence.
Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ,
by dying has destroyed our death,
and by rising, restored our life.
Your Holy Spirit, our comforter,
speaks for us in groans too deep for words.
Come alongside your people,
remind them of your eternal presence
and give them your comfort and strength.
Amen.

To my dearest Uncle Ley, I will truly miss how wonderful you've been to me as an uncle and another father figure i look up to. Although I haven't seen or spent time with you for a long time, you have always been and will continue to be a part of my heart. I wish i could have also been by your side during your last days. I know and understand that you are in a better and safe place (with Lolo and Lola) but I miss you so much!! Thank you for loving me like a daughter and always cheering me on when i needed someone by my side. I love you so much!

The thing I remember about our friend Ley was when I invited our batchmates to Hidden Valley Springs. Ley was the most carefree guy in the group, even when he forgot his trunks he still went night swimming with his tidy-whities (wish we had a video camera). My girlfriend felt uneasy, but I told her that it was Ok because it was Ley. Ley we will all miss you, I am sure you are swimming in the clouds.

Love, Roby Vallarta
