I was sorry to hear of Richie's passing. I remember him as a very kind and gentle soul. He was kind enough to send a sympathy card to us when my parents passed, it meant a lot to us to be remembered. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your families.
I am so saddened to hear of Richie's passing. I knew him mostly when we were young adults. We did a lot of laughing. He had a great sense of humor. One of my memories when he was learning to water ski and was having a hard time floating upright in the water. We just laughed hysterically the whole time. I also remember a Thanksgiving dinner when his mother made the turkey, of course, but for Richie, she him his favorite: duck. Ever since he gave me a piece of his duck, I order it if it's on the menu. I always think about him when I have that duck, and now I will even more make it a treasured memory. Richie and his sister, MaryEllen were my very good friends way back then. I got to see Richie when MaryEllen moved to the condo in Shelton a few years ago. When Richie and I talked, we just picked up where we left off: as if those many years apart never happened. Richie was a genuine person, charming and humorous. I am so sorry he left this world so soon. Terry Barry
I didn't spend all that much time with Richard, but all of the memories I have are nothing but positive. Even in some of the most difficult times our family has suffered through Richard was always there to help keep our spirits up. He will be dearly missed.
In all of my memories with Richard, he is smiling, laughing, and happy. My deepest condolences. I will always cherish those memories, and I'm grateful he was able to touch all of our lives.
I had the pleasure of knowing Rich from work, may he Rest in peace, and my prayers and thoughts are with you and your families.
