The man had a tremendous impact on me at 31. We met for the first time in Michigan, in 1991. We came together to say goodbye to my father and Uncle Dick's brother. Those days that I was honored to spend with Uncle Dick, were life changing. We spent many hours talking, well mostly he talked and I listened. :-) He had a calm, assured wisdom that spoke to a broken young man's heart. I am forever grateful, that after all the years that had passed, I got to meet a truly dignified, loving, and caring man in my Uncle Dick. My condolences to you all for the loss of a such a great human being.

Cousin Kristin and all the Lees and their families,
I regret that I never had the privilege of knowing your dad, husband, and grandfather, but I'm so glad that you contacted me this week, Kristin, and that we've been able to draw the expanded family in a little closer. Dick was my second cousin, since his maternal grandfather, Uri Keeney, and my maternal grandfather, Mack Keeney, were brothers. Father, in Jesus' name, please comfort the hearts of these dear family members and draw them close to Yourself.

To the Lee family - I've read many wonderful true words about Dick in previous thoughts written in this guest book ... Dick was such a fine man and a person I've always been proud to call my friend. Blessings to each member of his family who cared for this special person as you go through these next days. Sincerely, Marjorie Lee Wright
