Richard H. Mills Sr. 1928 - 2013

Richard H. Mills Sr.

I had the pleasure of being in one of Dick's classes in 1958-59. I seem to remember a certain classmate of mine who was also in one of Dick's classes. He encouraged questions from his students. Unfortunately, the question she asked led to her having to drop his class. She said, "I don't understand those protons. Could you explain them to me better, Hon?" He turned beet red, because he was to marry this girl and he and JoAnn had a very fulfilling marriage. So many memories. Long live Dick Mills!

JoAnn and Family. On behalf of the entire Abel Family (Janet Lepere) I wanted to express our deepest sympathies and love towards you and your family. He was the reason that I (Doug Abel) made it thru semisters of Chemistry class at BAC College, back in the early 1990's. He taught the class how to make gun powder, and several other cool things!! But most of all, I will always remember his smile!! I also remember all the times you girls would get together with my mom for craft club at the house. That was also a very festive time. Richard will truly be missed, but never forgotten!! -Doug Abel
