My Dear Brother,
After reading Courtney's message my eyes were full of tears so I will try now to tell you I miss you so very much---every day. It is Thanksgiving today and I give thanks for having had you in my life as many years as I did. Court & Tom will be here after they visit you at the cemetery.
Wish you were here. Missing you and loving you always.

Here's a candle for you Rich. We all wish you were here with your family on this Thanksgiving and the coming Christmas holiday! You are missed terribly! If you happen to run into Tom's dad up there can you tell him we love and miss him too?

Courtney and Tom will be saying there vows in a few months and I'm sure that you will be walking Court down the aisle and with them throughout..! And please have Tony come with you too so he can stand by Tom!!! They both need their dad's!!

Thank you Ron for your kind words. My father was indeed all those things, the most genuine and the most hard working person I'll ever know. I love my father more than anything. It warms my heart to know he is missed so much!!

A few nights ago, I input some names of people that I once worked with at Whittaker Coatings & Chemicals in Colton California. When I put in Richard Papin's name, his obituary jumped out at me and my heart sunk.

I worked with Richard at the same company from 1971 to 1983. I worked in operations, and he in sales where he did a fantastic job. I found Rich to be a warm wonderful and selfless human being. As I recall, he loved his family very much, and worked hard both on the job and off to provide them with everything that they needed. In about 1985, he purchased a house next door to mine which he refurbished after work just about every day, and later sold.

The world is a little colder with Richard gone. My deepest condolences to his family.
