I am so very impressed by the comments of my daughter, Megan, and granddaughter, Shauna, and the wonderful friends and relatives of Bob.

We were married for 49 years and Bob kept track of how many more days were needed to do it again. The number was up to 14,317 and started at 44 years married. His last entry was 9/20/12.

You all know I'll love forever.

My grandfather was such a great role model to me. He would help me edit my papers for school, keep me updated with new things in the news, do anything for me (even if it was too demanding) that's how much he cared for me and my siblings and my mother, Helped out if there was any trouble at home, Helped out in so many other ways with other people, and would always tell me a great story while he'd drive me around. I miss him a lot and it's really hard to see him go but I know he's looking over me on everything I do and I'm sure he's telling me to do my best. He has always supported me in faith and my performing arts career. There still have been times where I have shed a tear once and a while but I know that he's always there and I have so many people in my life from school, church, home, and everywhere that have supported me because that's exactly what he did for them, and have comforted me, and kept my head held high. Boppa's picture is in my locker so that everyday at school I see him in the morning and encourages me to do my best everyday because I know that's what he wanted me to do. I won't forget when I was younger how fun the trips to the dump would be, yelling mailbox everytime we passed a mailbox, and other memories like the skybars that all of us would eat, the twin acres Ice cream trips that we'd go on (especially the tradition of going opening weekend on April 1st) and his love of maple walnut ice cream, the stories he would tell me about his life as a reporter, and his love of the Red Sox! I dedicate all my performances for everything in school and at church and everywhere to him, and he's definitely got the best seat to watch. I will be thinking of him and I know now there is an angel looking down upon me.
Love you Boppa! <3

Thinking of you often Bob. There is a big hole in all our hearts that no one will ever be able to fill.
