I will always appreciate the times our families spent together growing up. Coach Goff was a great man whom I looked up to. He will be missed.
I am sorry to see Coach Goff pass! I got to see him with Donald Leigh a few weeks ago and he talked with us for over an hour. He reminisced with us about the run we had to the State finals. He reviewed our times together and small details that stuck in his mind about each of us. He was such a General on the sidelines and a tiger at practice! His team loved and respected him! Memories that we will carry with us in the twilight of our lives. Coach Goff(RG), you may be gone from this messed up world, but we will see you again to celebrate the eternal life together! Loved you as a great man who I tried to immulate when I was coaching on the sidelines! We will miss you!

Sorry for your loss, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Judy Garner and Tammy Garner Hardt
I was attending Calhoun High School while Mr. Goff was the assistant principal there. He was always cognizant of my Christian faith and would often address me as "Brother Hillyard" on the school campus without regard as to how others may view him for referring to our Christian bond. He was loved and respected and there will be large hole in the fabric of Calhoun County where he was a part. May God's peace be with you Brother Goff. Cliff Hillyard (Sr. class, 1974)
so sorry to hear of your loss. Remember him well from High School as did most everyone that went there during his time. Hugs to you all.
