I met Bob & Kay 20 yrs ago through my now husband - Jim Prettyman. Bob & Kay were good friends of the Prettyman Family especially Bob & Dorothy (Jim's parents). They were also Jim's Godparents the best anyone could have. The first time I met Bob & Kay was in Florida and boy was I nervous but they made me feel comfortable. Kay reminded me of me and my family and Bob was the greatest at telling stories especially of the Meadows when they were all kids growing up and also he loved to talk financial matters.
I knew Bob was interested in the development of the Ocean City - Somers Point Bridge so I saved an article for him to read. I knew he would have been happy it was finally finished. I was trying to call Bob for awhile now and just figured he was either dining or visiting Kay but after awhile (which was yesterday) I asked my husband Jim to see if he could find out anything. I knew something was wrong. And sure enough he went on line and found Bob's Obituary. I am so so so sad and sorry to hear of this. I think Bob really knew (deep down inside) that he was not whole without Kay & he so departed before her. I hope Kay is not suffering and one day she will be with her other half. Both Kay & Bob taught me alot about life. I am so glad to have had the pleasure of knowing the both of you in your fun years of life. With Deepest Sympathy to the family of the McGills.
We Love you guys....Annie & Jim
P.S. If someone could post me on how Kay is doing I would greatly appreciate it. My phone # is 609-653-8681.
