We were very saddened to learn of the passing of Bob. We always treasured our visits to Indy, dating 'way back into the forties. Hope you can now take comfort in knowing that he and Joan are at peace and have been reunited forever.
Karla, Chris, and Suzanne,
I am sad to hear that the world has lost a wonderful human in your dad. My father, Robert Hurley was a great friend of his for many years at St. joan of Arc. Being in California, I was only able to visit my Dad few timew. Year, but we always made a point to visit your Dad. I was lucky to be included in their Tuesday lunches. I was happy to know my father had such a good friend in Bob Sceller. May he rest in peace. He deserves it!

Suzanne, Chris and Karla, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. I remember our family visits to Indianapolis. Bob was such an entertaining, knowledgable, fun presence on those trips. He was so devoted to and proud of his family; I think that's what I'll remember most about him. I also remember how much time he put into researching his family tree and learning about his roots. I know how much you will miss him, but I can see the smile on your mom's face to have him with her again. God bless you; you will be in my prayers.
