Roberto Velasquez

PADRE! Are you ready for this? I got a promotion. Yes, I passed the test. ;)
I'll be making around $330 more dollars than my old job. And, I went on another interview and that job pays $1,960 more a month than I make now....but they haven't called me again.
But hey, every little bit counts, right?
I know you are with us Dad, Roberto and Anthony are growing up so fast. And Roberto does this crazy face that reminds us of you. Anthony, is a bit reserved like Mom.
Raechelle is working at a clothing store, and she likes working. But she really wants to get into something else.
Ray is doing better than all of us. He takes after you because he saves his money. You would be so proud.
I love you Dad, and miss you. Your Birthday is this Friday! And Mom's and Your Anniversary. I'm planning on getting her a Wedding Cake and decorating it with Orchids or Lily's of the Valley. See you soon. Cindos

There's nothing more pleasing than to see your mannerisms and spirit in my kids. Some are grown, and others are growing each day. I'm proud to say that they will carry on the Velasquez name; another generation filled with hopes of achieving their dreams.
I love you for giving me the courage, Dad, to keep my head up even when others put me down.
I salute you, with respect, and thank you for representing us in the service. During these troubled times it means even more to me. I share a love for my country just as you taught us to have.
Until we meet again Padre, I am waiting for you.

I dream of you, and it's like you never left. I miss you Dad!

This is a picture of my loving parents. They have always been there to help all of us children & grandchildren in any way that they could.
I know that my Dad would be very proud of my Mom for all that she does for everybody still.
I know that someday I hope to have a bit of her compassion, patience, and beauty in all that I do. She is a reflection of pure beauty, and I am so happy that my Dad chose her. And vice versa.
I love my Dad, and I miss him everyday. I see bits of him in my children and know that we will be together again.

My father was and always will be my inspiration to be the best that I could be. He guided me in my life towards becoming better educated. Although it was a struggle to maintain my travels on the straight and narrow road, I always found my way back. No matter what. I value the morals that my father introduced to me and strive to fulfill them day after day.
He also taught me that "Your family is all that you have, and you need each other". I wish he was still here so I could tell him that "Dad, now I understand". I see the value of everybody's life a little bit more now.
I never thought that there would be a day that he wouldn't be there to correct me, or that he would stop caring for me, which I often took for granted.
To you, I want to thank you for being a part of my Father's life ~ whether you are family, a friend, a co-worker, or acquaintance. You enriched us all.
