We were so BLESSED to have had Russell Clanahan as our father....when you have a father that great...it gives you INSIGHT as to what your Heavenly Father is like....
I remember Mr. Clanahan well. I went to work in 1966 at the Pentagon after graduating from high school. Mr. Clanahan was my first boss and a great one at that. I have many fond memories of him and his wife. My best friend Maureen Bowen worked for Mrs. Clanahan. My prayers are with your family. Zoe-Ann (Kirby) Freitag
Holly, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear father. Eighty five years is a good life, but for those left behind it is never enough. Someone who radiates as much happiness as you do should never endure a sad day and I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that we love you and I hope that gives you some comfort.
Daddy, my heart is broken but yet, I am grateful you are now in the loving arms of the Lord. One day, Mommy and all of your family will be joined again in Heaven. I will take comfort in knowing that God will not leave me nor forsake me. Mo, Noelle/Danny, Soozie and myself have never known a finer, sweeter, funnier, more intelligent man and I have truly been blessed to have you as a Father and best friend. God be with you, Daddy. I will love you always, Papa Bear. Love/cherish, Your Holly Anne
